Korps Mariniers Edition - by Eymardville

Matured in whisky casks, born out of tradition and camaraderie

Some drinks tell more than just a story of taste; they carry a narrative, a history, and a soul.

This apple eau de vie, carefully distilled by Eymardville in collaboration with the Marine Corps, is one such drink. A unique creation in honor of 360 years of dedication, strength, and solidarity.

An encounter between two worlds

The idea arose from friendship. What began as a conversation between Collin Muntinga of the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps and Leon van Welie, distiller/owner of Eymardville and good neighbour, grew into an ambitious plan: to create a drink together that would capture the spirit of the Corps – powerful, pure and full of character.

Over a good glass, inspiration flowed together with tradition.

The result: an apple eau de vie, aged in whisky casks, a meeting between the freshness of the fruit and the depth of oak. A bridge between past and present, between sea and land, between camaraderie and craftsmanship.

The power of contrast and character

The drink opens with the fresh elegance of ripe apples, followed by soft notes of vanilla, wood and a subtle hint of smoke. Maturation in whisky casks adds warmth, depth and a robust finish reminiscent of burning oak, salty sea air and brotherhood on deck.

A spirit that is as powerful as it is refined — a tribute to the craftsmanship of the distiller and the unyielding spirit of the Corps.

A glass full of history

With every sip, you raise your glass to 360 years of courage, tradition and solidarity.

A drink that is not only tasted, but felt.

A story in liquid form — of struggle, honour and friendship.
